The conference was organized by NDI in conjunction with 2face Foundation to sensitize Bayelsans especially the youths about the need for peace during the upcoming governor elections.

The conference was attended by Mr Emmanuel Idowu - Commissioner of Police Bayelsa State, Mr Asare - Youth Leader, Mr Tari Doadona - NLC/TLC, Barrister Idise - Bayelsa Women Lawyers, and Mr Godson Tom.
2face showed attendees how to pledge for the Vote Not Fight campaign through its official website.
He pledged right there in front of everybody. Addressing the audience the legendary singer emphasized that youths should shun violence during the upcoming elections and be productive to their society.
On November 24, 2face Idibia was honoured with a chieftaincy title in Kaduna.
The 40 year old singer received the title ‘Tafindan Kudenda’ which means ‘Ambassador of Peace’ because of his humanitarian efforts in the state via his The 2face Idibia Foundation, and his peaceful voting campaign with the #VoteNotFight initiative.
