Derrick Rose scores 50 points for Minnesota Timberwolves in NBA

Derrick Rose recorded his career high after 10 seasons in the NBA and showed signs of his 2011 MVP winning season.

Derrick Rose was the star of the show as he led the Minnesota Timberwolves to another home victory without star player Jimmy Butler.

The 30-year-old Point Guard was at his imperious best recording his highest point tally in the NBA since his rookie season in 2008.

Rose was superb and the game showed signs of his 2011 season with the Chicago Bulls where he won the Most Valuable Player award (MVP).

Rose did not do it alone as Karl Anthony Towns recorded 28 points, Andrew Wiggins contributed 19 points while rookie Josh Okogie added 10 points.

Superstars across the basketball community reacted to the achievement and performance of Rose against the Jazz.

Miami Heat superstar Dwayne Wade said on his Twitter account, "Every Basketball fan in the world should feel good for DRose. Tonite was an example of never giving up on yourself and when others believe in you. Amazing things can happen. I’m smiling like i scored 50! Congrts to a good dude!"

NBA Hall of fame star Reggie Miller said, "This is what makes sports GREAT. The genuine ❤️ and appreciation Derrick Rose teammates have for him is fantastic. Happy for this young man.. "

Houston Rockets Guard Chris Paul said, "s/o to @drose for the 50 piece tonight!!!"

Lakers beat Mavericks

Lebron James was the hero for the Los Angeles Lakers as they recorded a narrow 114-113 victory over the Dallas Mavericks at the Staples centre.

The victory was the third for the Lakers this season after a disappointing start to the campaign.

Lebron put up 29 points and six assists with help from Kyle Kuzma who put up 18 points and JaVale McGee with 16 points,

Warriors beat Pelicans

Reigning NBA Champions continued their impressive start to the season with a comfortable 131-121 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans at the Oracle Arena.

The Warriors were superb on Halloween's day, with their star players in top form against the Pelicans.

Steph Curry scored 37 points which included seven from three point range against the Pelicans other top performers are Kevin Durant with 24 points while Klay Thomspon also added 18 points.

Domantas Sabonis  was the hero as the Indiana Pacers beat the New York Knicks 107-101 away from home.

Sabonis put up 30 points as the Pacers battled hard in the fourth quarter to close out the game.

He was helped by Victor Oladipo who contributed 24 points, while Thaddeus Young also added 10 points, for the Knicks the top performer was Tim Hardway Jr who had 37 points.

The Brookyln Nets needed overtime to beat the Detroit Pistons 120-119 at  home .

Paul Millsap was the hero for the Denver Nuggets with a clutch two points throw in overtime as they beat the Chicago Bulls 108-107 away from home.

The San Antonio Spurs had a comfortable 120 -90 win over the Phoenix Suns, with DeMar DeRozan contributing 25 points.
