Three female students from Wesley Girls’ High school, Cape Coast, Ghana have been honoured with the West African Examination Council (WAEC) excellence award for their outstanding performance during the May/June 2015 WASSCE.

They were rewarded for their outstanding performance during the May/June 2015 WASSCE.
According to Leadership, the three students emerged overall best students out of 1,883,775 students who sat for the examination in The Gambia, Ghana and Nigeria.
While making this disclosure during the 6th annual meeting of WAEC on Thursday, March 15, President and Commander-In-Chief of the Armed forces of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama described WAEC as a dominant global brand which conducts credible examinations across West Africa.
In his keynote address, Mahama further commended the board members and staff of the council for their commitment to excellence.
He expressed pleasure over the council’s commencement of the Basic Education Certificate Examination for private candidates in Ghana.
