Disabled 19-yr-old shot dead for wearing red shoes
Los Angeles Police have arrested three men who shot and killed a 19-year-old teenager with developmental disabilities because he wore red shoes.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), 19-year-old was killed before his mother on the morning of May 29.
ABC7 reported that the alleged shooter, 27-year-old Kanasho Johns, was arrested in June and was charged with murder alongside 30-year-old Dwight Smith and 25-year-old Kevin Johnson.
According to Los Angeles Times, Price had gone into a shot to buy a soft drink when three men approached him and asked about his red shoes, wanting to know if he belong to a cult group.
He reportedly ignored them and went to a nearby car wash.
Police say the men followed him there and shot him four times while his mother and a family friend watched.
