18,000 students pass UNILAG Post-UTME
Almost 18,000 candidates who sat for the 2015 post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) test of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) passed.
The institution’s Deputy Registrar, Information, Olagoke Oke, revealed this in a statement issued to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.
Oke said 17,935 of the 26, 732 of the candidates registered for the Post-UTME test passed.
“A total of 17,935 candidates passed the screening test with a minimum score of 40 per cent," he said.
The official noted that 309 candidates did not show up for the test while 118 candidates were disqualified for failure to follow the instructions for the Computer Based Test (CBT)" while a further 271 candidate's results" have been confirmed as cases involving malpractice."
The screening exercise was conducted from Wednesday 12th to Friday 14th of August.
