MSSN urges high moral standards among Muslim, Christian students
Students of the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) have been urged to maintain high moral standards during their time in the institution.
The admonition was given by the Ameer (President) of the UNIABUJA chapter of the Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Abdul-Basit Musa.
Speaking with newsmen last weekend at launch of the Society’s magazine, entitled (the message), Musa said the student society is concerned with the orientation of Muslim and non-Muslim students and other students against social vices.
He identified cultism and examination malpractice as some of the vices students should shun.
Musa urged students of all faiths to belong to one fellowship while on campus towards living with high moral standards.
He explained that non-Muslim students were invited to the magazine launch and other programmes of the MSSN to create opportunities for dialogue and clear misconceptions about Islam.
MSSN is the apex Muslim students’ body in Nigeria, established in Lagos in the year 1954.
