20-yr-old OAU student-artiste marks birthday with song for disabled persons

A student of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ajakaye Victor Oluwatobi, has dedicated a new song to persons living with disabilities to mark his 20 birthday.

Oluwatobi who goes by the stage name celebrated the landmark birthday on the 15 of July with the song titled ,

Speaking with Veekthur said the single, which was produced by CoDlonel Tyemmy and Phemmix, is his own unique way of encouraging those with a form of disability or the other to strive to get the best out of life.

“I was inspired by physically challenged classmate,” Veekthur said.

“Last year, I went to an orphanage to mark my 19 birthday so I wanted to do something different this time around.

“Most people don’t see the potentials in physically challenged people, but I do.

“So this song is for them, to encourage them.”

Veekthur said Nigerian-French singer-songwriter Asa inspires his style of music.
