At about 7pm on Sunday, June 29th, some student accosted a woman who was loitering within the female hostel premises carrying some bags which they feared contained explosives.
Reports say the 'suicide bomber' reacted to their questions with a threat to kill anyone that further disturbed her.
It took prompt police intervention to quell the situation.
The spokesperson of the Niger State Police Command, ASP Richard Oguche, said preliminary investigations after the woman's arrest revealed that she had no incriminating item on her.
