The Pan African University (PAU) has called for application into short-term academic positions at the institutions.

A 28-member governing council has been inaugurated for the four-year-old Pan-African University (PAU) which runs 54 tertiary education institutions across the continent, with campuses in Nairobi, Kenya and Ibadan, Nigeria, and a planned headquarters in Yaunde, Cameroon.
In a June 22nd announcement published on its website, the African Union (AU) owned university notified the public of available academic staff positions at its Institute of Water and Energy Sciences and called for applications from qualified candidates.
"The Pan African University Institute of Water and Energy Sciences (including Climate Change), ‘PAUWES’ is inviting committed academics (and professionals) to apply and join the team of PAUWES," the announcement read.
Applications are expected to include the following:
1. Application letter:
- stating your motivation current curriculum vitae
- making clear reference to advertised position
- indicating availability between September and January (flexibility is an asset)
2. Updated curriculum vitae:
- personal details
- education
- professional experience
- teaching experience (courses taught, level of courses)
- number and themes of supervised Master and PhD students
- proficiency of languages
- list of publications (major publications of last 5 years, books, patents)
- research projects
- consultancy projects and other assignments
- prizes, grants, awards etc.
- contact details of three referees
It instructed that applications should be sent to jobs@pauwes.univ-tlemcen.dz on or before Sun, 19th of July 2015.
