Today, 5th of October is the Teachers' Day for 2015 in Nigeria and many parts of the world.

The teachers' Day is simply a special day set aside for the appreciation and celebration of teachers to honour them for their immense contributions to society.

In many countries, on this day, some countries celebrate a local educator or mark an important milestone in their educational development.

Most countries, like Nigeria, United Kingdom, Armenia, Bangladesh, Germany, Macedonia, Serbia, Nigeria, etc. mark the day on the 5th of October, but the date varies all over the world with some like Tunisia, Morocco, and Yemen taking the 28th of February, Bolivia on 6th of June, Lebanon on the 9th of March and Spain on the 29th of January to mention a few.
