TRAGEDY! Truck Crushes Two NYSC Members To Death

Two serving members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) have died after a truck ran over their motorcycle in Dutse, the Jigawa State capital on Monday.

Reports have it that the corps members, identified as Abubakar Muktar from Yobe State and Mustapha Sani Sufi from Kano State, both members of the NYSC Batch C, serving in Dutse, died on the spot.

A third corps member, Ahmed Haruna, was injured in the accident.

The Sector Commandant of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) Jigawa State command, Umar Aminu, said all three corps members were riding on a single motorcycle at the time the accident occurred.

NYSC spokesperson, Mr. Obemeator Alex, told journalists that the deceased both studied in foreign universities.

Late Abubakar majored in Accounting at an East-London university, majoring in Accounting while late Sufi studied Business Administration from Cape Briton University.

Their remains have been taken back to Kano for funeral rites.
