Speaking on Tuesday at a sensitization rally for women held at Abonnema town, headquarters of Akuku-Toru LGA, Mrs Amaechi said women must protect their children from being initiated into secret cult groups.

She urged the women to rise up to the challenges of redirecting their wards from violence and other negative activities.

“Beyond political power, let us allow the power of God to reign supreme in our lives for our children to have the right direction,” she was quoted as saying in a Bella Naija report.

She also urged the women to vote wisely in the forthcoming general elections.
