A Queens College teacher, Mr. Olaseni Osifala, who was accused of sexual harassment against school students have finally spoken up to deny the allegations.
Teacher accused of sexual assault finally speaks out
"This is a fiction, this must be from my hater..."
Osifala was accused by a JSS 2 student, Chinenye Okoye's of sexual molestation. So far, the principal of the school and a member of the teaching staff has also denied Okoye's claims.
Various previous students of the school have also come out to defend Okoye's claims, adding that Osifala's behaviour is one that is known among school staff and students.
The principal of the school has however, refuted these allegations. Principal Lami Amodu said the claims was an attempt to ridicule, not just Mr Olaseni, but the “hard-earned reputation” of Queens College.
Osifala, on his Facebook page, reacted to the story, saying it is a work of fiction.
Olaseni said, "This is a fiction, this must be from my hater. It is a share jealous [SIC]. I don't live in the school compound, I don't drink and I don't teach junior school. Please disregard this dubious story."
Former students of the school corroborated the story when it was broken by OloriSupergal.
“@Bimsey_d: @efeirele @steph_ani1 i know right? Cant you remember Gbemi In obi house too . I think she had to leave qc or boarding house ( cant remember) too fr this useless guy. He was so graphic when teaching…. ‘Seni would put his this inside that’…. Cant believe he is still there too”
“boosoohlar: Hmm!!! Nemesis. Am glad someone is saying something about this. He was my biology teacher in a lesson I attended in Akoka (2005) this was exactly what he does for my seniors back then”
“olori0ko: very well said. Every one deserves a chance at justice… The victim and the accused. People are too quick to reach conclusions because of Seni’s antecedents (I acknowledge that he has record of lewd talk and teaching doesn't do do him any favours) but we must all give truth a chance.”
