Pondi's Giant Strides Nigerian Students In Asia Endorse Young PDP Politician For 2015

A young politician has been endorsed by Nigerian students in the diaspora to represent his constituency in the 2015 election.

A Nigerian students group, Burutu Transformation Student Ambassadors in Diaspora (BTSAD), Asia Chapter, has endorsed a politician, Rt. Hon. Julius Pondi, for the  Federal House Of Representative.

In a joint statement by the National President, Comr. Arerebo Salaco Yerinmene Peters Jnr, the Secretary General, Comr. Seigha Samsom Tamaraudenyefa, National Coordinator, Comr. Lokiri Tamaraudenyefa Raymond, Speaker, Comr. Tambou Julius Mienseifa and the Public Relation Officer, Comr. Bamuza Joshua Ayagbo, the group stated that they selected Pondi because of his youth empowerment efforts.

"We endorse the candidacy of our young and able Rt. Hon. Julius Pondi  to contest   for House of Representatives Burutu Federal Constituency in 2015 election in our beloved country Nigeria under the platform of the People Democratic Party (PDP)," the group said.

According to the group, Pondi, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology (FUTO), Owerri, is "a tested and trusted young politician" whose efforts towards youth development and education have improved the lots of his people.

“Rt. Hon. Julius Pondi  has contributed significantly toward the growth and development of our beloved constituency through youth empowerment and the development of sanitation in the various communities as well as empowering women and children

"He also created job opportunities for the youth during his administration as the Youths President."

The group added that it was Pondi's efforts that facilitated the "re-awakening of the basic educational status of Burutu public schools."

Student Pulse gathered that Hon. Julius Pondi picked up his nomination ticket last week.
