NECO extends 2018 SSCE registration

The NECO Registrar in a statement says applicants wishing to write the on-going exam could still register as walk-in candidates

According to Daily Trust, The Acting Registrar of the exam body, Mr Abubakar Gana, made this known on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, in Abuja.

Gana in s statement said applicants wishing to write the on-going exam could still register as walk-in candidates, saying the extension became necessary because some candidates could not register before the registration deadline.

He, however, advised the affected candidates to take advantage of the window provided by the management.

The Registrar also urged candidates registering after the closing date to adhere to the guidelines of the registration process.

He warned that such candidates must complete the registration within 24 hours to the scheduled time of examination for the subject(s) that they intended to sit for.

You will recall that the Council postponed the commencement of its November/December 2018 Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) to  Monday, November 19, 2018.

The exam body explained that the date of the exam was shiftedbecause of the Federal Government’s decision to declare a public holiday.
