The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) 2018 Batch B mobilization exercise has started and it will last for one week.

The NYSC management on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, announced on its website and social media platforms that registration for the next batch of corps members will start from Tuesday, July 10, 2018, to Monday, July 16, 2018.

The NYSC has also released guidelines for the prospective corps members to follow during the registration exercise.

However, if you are signing in for the 2018 Batch B orientation program, here are five important tips every prospective corps members should be mindful of.

1. Do not thumbprint by proxy

You are expected to do the thumbprint by yourself. On no account should you allow anybody to do it on your behalf.

2. Make sure the passport you upload is very clear

Before uploading your passport during the registration, you have to make sure the passport clearly shows your face.

3. Do not forget the username and password you use for registration

Since this is the first time you'll be using this password and username for NYSC related exercise, you have to make sure the username and password are memorable.

4. Use correct email address and phone number

All Prospective Corps Members, PCMs must have functional e-mail addresses that they can access and Nigerian (GSM) telephone numbers with which to register

5. Use correct Matric number to register

Prospective Corps Members who graduated from Nigerian higher institutions are expected to use correct Matriculation numbers to register.


Meanwhile, the NYSC management has urged all Prospective Corps Members to register on time as the registration portal will close on Monday, July 16, 2018.
