Speaking to Pulse about NANS protest in their school, a final year student, Moshood Oladeji said NANS members blocked the school gate as early as 6 am to protest on behalf of the expelled and suspended students.

He said, ''the protest happened yesterday, the NANS came to protest on behalf of the recently expelled students led by their Senate President.

''Exams started yesterday, and the management said the students will not be allowed to write the exam. So the NANS came to protest against that verdict. The rumour we are getting now is that the suspended and expelled students would start their exam today, but  I don't know how true that is. Now, the school management is looking into it again, probably they might consider another means of punishing the students aside from the expulsion and suspension they gave them''.

Meanwhile, LAUTECH students union president, Abiodun Oluwaseun has reportedly condemned the protest describing it as 'illogical'.
