Kano police have arrested six suspects in connection with last week's abduction and stabbing of two pupils of Fagge Special Primary School, Kano. One of the pupils died.
This was Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Musa Magaji Majiya, who was briefing newsmen in Kano on Monday.
Majiya said the suspects were arrested last week following a tip-off.
He said they are presently assisting the police in its investigation and would be charged to court.
It will be recalled that two pupils, a male and a female, were abducted from their school by unidentified assailants about 1.p.m last Wednesday while classes were on-going.
The abductors then stabbed both students several times and dumped them into a pit toilet where they were found.
Unfortunately the female died in the hospital.
