JAMB warns candidates to ignore fake news about sale of 2019 UTME form
JAMB says any news or reports about 2019 UTME form sale is false.
The Exam Board on its Twitter page on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, advised the candidates to ignore any course saying the sales of UTME forms has begun.
The tweet reads; Kindly disregard news from any source stating that the Board has begun sales of it UTME application documents. Such news reports are false.
However, the tweet did not state when the 2019 UTME form would be out for sale.
JAMB earlier announced to start UTME form sales in October
Earlier in September, the JAMB Registrar while announcing the agency's readiness to conduct the 2019 UTME said sale of the exam forms will begin in October 2018
''We believe that by the end of October, we would then begin the 2019/2020 admission'' Oloyede said.
Despite the call in some quarters on JAMB to reduce the registration fee, the Board Registrar has maintained that the fee would not be reduced.
He said the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) and the National Examination Council (NECO) charge more than JAMB but nobody is asking them to reduce their fees.
