360 teachers, principals with fake certificates exposed

Almost 400 Kenya public schools staff with fake certificates have been exposed after a biometric exercise according to Liberian News Agency (LNA).

The affected persons, who were unnamed, include 350 public school teachers and 11 principals

The Montserrado County Education Officer, Cecilia Reeves, told LNA. that the teachers and principals were caught with the fake documents when the Left Bank One Group conducted a biometric ID card exercise to verify their status.

Following the discovery, they were disqualified from going through the process.

Reeves urged the affected staff to seek academic qualification by returning to school.
