Many Students Killed In Suspected Boko Haram Attack

Boko Haram insurgents have killed students at the Federal College of Education (FCE) barely two months after 8 students were killed in a bomb blast at the Kano Polytechnic.

Many students are feared killed at the Federal College of Education (FCE), Kano following a bomb blast and sporadic shooting in what is suspected to be a Boko Haram attack.

Student Pulse gathered that the insurgents attacked the school at about 2pm today (Wednesday).

After the bomb blast, the insurgents reportedly started shooting sporadically, killing and injuring an unconfirmed number of students in the process.

Though there has been no official report on the matter, some sources are saying the casualty figures are high.

On the 30th of July a bomb explosion at the Kano Polytechnic, killed 8 students who were checking the NYSC mobilisation list.

It will be recalled that, in August, an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) placed at Block 400 of the college was discovered and defused before it exploded.
