All private and public schools in the state will be closed from Tuesday, Nov. 17 to Monday, Nov. 23 2015.

The Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Education, Alhaji Adamu Sheidu said they had to make this decision because many of the schools will serve as temporary camps for security agents being deployed to the state for the Nov. 21 governorship election.

He advised that parents keep an eye on th whereabouts of their children during this time while disclosing that this order only affects only all primary and secondary schools in the state.
