Protest rock DELSU after robbers stab 6 students

Students of the Delta State University (DELSU), Oleh Campus, have protested following attacks on six of their colleagues by unidentified assailants.

Students of the Delta State University (DELSU), Oleh Campus, have protested following attacks on six of their colleagues by unidentified assailants.

The injured student are Sergine Presley, Amasa Gideon, Ideh David, German Kenneth, Sunday and Humprey Odion, all 500 level students.

The students blocked the road leading to the campus chanting aluta songs.

As a result, vehicular and pedestrian movement were obstructed even as shops were close.

Leading the protest, the President of the Student Union Government (SUG), Comrade Oshie Ewomazino, condemned the attack.

The Delta State Police Public Relation Officer, DSP Celestina Kalu, said the 6 injured the students injured in the attack are receiving and responding to treatment.
