Colleges of Education Games We'll 'do everything possible' to host NICEGA, ACE Provost vows

Provost of the Adeyemi College of Education, Prof. Olukoya Ogen, says the College will do everything to ensure it hosts the 2015 edition of NICEGA.

The Adeyemi College of Education (ACE), Ondo, is set to host the 2015 edition of the Nigerian Colleges of Education Games (NICEGA).

ACE Provost, Prof. Olukoya Ogen, who spoke at an award ceremony organised in honour of students who represented the College at the 2013 edition of NICEGA held in Minna, Niger State, said the management is ready to do all it takes to bring home the competition.

“I promise that we will continue to work and take the College to greater heights," Ogen said.

This year by the grace of God, at the level of management, we will do everything possible to see that we host NICEGA.’’

Ogen commended the College Sports Committee (CSC) which organised the ceremony and urged the students to continue to win more medals for the College in future competitions.

Chairman of the CSC, Dr. S.M Raji, also commended the institution's management for providing necessary funds.

Student Pulse gathered that the first NICEGA, formerly known as NATCEGA was hosted by Alvan Ikoku College of Education, Owerri in 1978.
