No fewer than 303 students’ displaced by the Boko Haram insurgency have been given free WAEC and NECO forms by a former Chief of Staff to Borno State Governor Kashim Shettima.
Kyari, a former Chief of Staff to Borno State Governor Kashim Shettima, announced the gesture on Monday.
The 303 students are final year Senior Secondary School students who are living in refugee camps in Maiduguri having been displaced from their towns.
The politician also flagged off an 8-week extramural lesson session to prepare the students for the examinations.
He also announced that all the students will be given three meals every day for the entire 8-week period.
Kyari said the initiative is open to other students.
The Boko Haram insurgency had displaced a lot of students.
Most of them now reside in temporary camps and are unlikely to be able to access educational facilities.
