48 New First Class Graduates Emerge From UNILORIN Engines

UNILORIN will graduate 6,329 students in its 30th convocation ceremony. Out of that number, 48 are graduating will first class degrees, 7 more than it produced last year.

Another forty-eight first class degree holders will emerge as the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) holds its 30th Convocation Ceremonies from Monday, 20th of October to Thursday, October 23rd, 2014.

The figure represents an increase in the number of first class graduates, from 41 in 2013.

In the 4-day ceremony taking place on the Main Campus of the University,  the 2013/2014 set, a total of 6,329 graduands, will be awarded first and postgraduate degrees, Diplomas as well as certificates in various disciplines.

A breakdown of the 6,329 graduands shows that 5,421 will be getting their first degrees, 642 Masters Degree, 106 Ph.D. and 142 postgraduate Diploma graduands while 18 will receive Diplomas.
