Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State has lamented the state of facilities as schools in the state and promised that his government would provide the needs of the teachers and students ion the state.
Bagudu made the observation while on a visit to select schools in different areas of the state: Government Science Technical College, Bunza; Government Secondary School Gwandu, as well as Government Secondary School, Bunza and Model Primary School, Kalgo
Commending the staff and students of the schools for their endurance, tolerance and commitment to duties, despite the inhabitable condition of the schools, the governor called for hard work and dedication.
"I urge you to rededicate yourselves to achieve the desired goals through hard work and I am advising students to read day and night to become future leaders," he told the teachers and students.
He promised that his government would do its part by providing the needs of the teachers and students, improving the school feeding system, renovating existing infrastructure, perimeter fencing, toilet facilities, computers, laboratories, water, electricity, furniture and other needs.
