Season 1 of the #PulseStudentPoetry and #PulseStudentSelfie Contests have ended on a high note with two winners clinching the top prize of a Lenovo Thinkpad.

The duo visited Pulse.ng studios on Monday, 5th of May for the official hand-over of their prizes and the official kick-off the season 2 of both the #PulseStudentPoetry and #PulseStudentSelfie Contests.
Valentine (@iambobbyvee) won our selfie prize and the April bragging rights after getting the highest number of social media endorsement for his cute selfie.
"I am really happy I won," Valentine told Student Pulse." I am really happy for it."
Our poetry contest winner, Madu Chisom Kingdavid, a 200 Level student of History and International Studies at Imo State University, secured the prize with after getting a total of 1367 points during our online voting for his poem .
The laptop meant a career boost for Kindavid.
"I was so happy. [A laptop] is one of things I've been looking for as a writer. I am so happy and I thank God for that," he said.
Season 2 promises to be as exciting as Season 1, with more Lenovo Thinkpads waiting to be one. All it takes is an 8-line poem to win the poetry edition and a single picture to win the selfie edition.
