In the series of horrifying images posted by the terror group, men of the ISIS can be seen throwing a man off the roof of a building and thereafter stoning him to death for being gay.

In one of the photo, a group of masked and armed on top of a building is seen with the victim while another shows the man on the ground after he was apparently hurled from the rooftop.

In the photos posted on a jihgadist website, the body of the man can be seen on a floor surrounded by stones which must have been used to stone him to death.

Before the man in these latest photos was thrown to his death, his killers read the 'judgement' from the Islamic court. It read that the man should be thrown from the highest point in the city for being gay.

In a statement which accompanied the images, ISIS said "the Islamic court in Wilayet al-Furat [which refers to an area which crosses the frontier between Syria and Iraq] decided that a man who has practised sodomy must be thrown off the highest point in the city."

According to , the ISIS have used this method to execute people accused of being gay on at least three occasions in less than a month.

A 20-year-old man was stoned to death in Syria in November after ISIS say they found implicating photos on his phones.
