‘Pastors Chris And Anita Have Been Separated For 15 Years’ – Insider claims

Pastor Anita Oyakhilome has reportedly asked a UK court to dissolve her marriage to husband, Pastor Chris

According to The Cable, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of the Believers’ Love World, aka Christ Embassy, and his wife Anita are about to get a divorce.

Anita is said to have officially filed a petition to end the marriage in April 2014 in the UK and the necessary papers have been served on Pastor Chris.

Members of the church in the UK expressed concern when they noticed that their presiding pastor, Anita had been absent since November 2013.

Another source of worry is the fact that Pastor Chris decided to take up residence in Johannesburg, South Africa while his wife and kids live in the UK.

An insider (who chooses to remain anonymous) said:

“According to people in the know, family members o, they have been separated for fifteen years. They were just saving face for the sake of the ministry but it looks like the wife has had enough.

According to the Facebook page, “Where is Rev. Anita Oyakhilome?”

“When Pastor Chris moved her and the children to the UK and seemed to separate himself from his family, little did he know that the Lord was going to use his unfair thoughts and actions for the good of Rev. Anita and all His children who the ministry have smartly and are still trying to smartly lead away from God”

However another insider says that the rumours are false:

Please all these stories are not true, this family and mine are family friends, my mum even went to visit Pastor Chris’ mum in Benin last week and nothing of this sort is happening.

The controversy continues as the populace awaits an official response from the parties concerned regarding this issue.
