Adding that the North-Central Geo-political zone should be allowed a shot at the senate presidency.

In a statement signed by Pastor Vitalis Yahemba, the group posits that Senator Akume should be nominated as the 8th National Assembly Senate President.

The clerics claim that allowing the President and senate president seats to go to the core North will mean that the North Central are marginalised despite its efforts to rally support for the All Progressives Congress in the 2015 elections.
