Gunmen Kill 30 Muslims In Mosque During Friday Prayers

The men behind the brutal attack are yet to be identified

Scores of Muslims have been killed by militants during a raid on a mosque while Friday prayers were going on.

The Sunni Muslim mosque in Iraq’s Diyala province northeast of Baghdad was attacked by unknown men.

The attackers used automatic machine guns in the Musab bin Omar mosque in the town of Baniyas, police said.Baniyas is about 75 kilometers northeast of the provincial capital, Baquba.It wasn’t immediately clear who was behind the attack. Both Sunni militants and Shiite Muslim militias have been active in the province.
