A South African pastor, Paseka Motsoeneng founder of Incredible Happenings Ministries, well known for his controversies was said to have challenged the founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations, T.B. Joshua claiming to have the same healing power as he.

According to reports, Pastor Motsoeneng in a chat with a South African online news platform, Sowetan Live, said the death of 84 South Africans would have been averted, if his countrymen believed and promoted local pastors enough.

He said,

Motsoeneng who is also a televangelist volunteered to donate to family of the victims.

He reportedly said:

It was gathered that the South African pastor has had his fair share of controversies including an alleged molestation of women and girls.

A petition by the Sonke Gender Justice and People Opposing Women Abuse was submitted to the South African Rights Commission in 2011 on the said abuse.
