Reports from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) says 8 more people have been recovered overnight from the site where the collapsed building once stood in the premises of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, Ikotun, Lagos.

Three more bodies were discovered on Tuesday morning.

Earlier, NEMA had said the police would be using search dogs to help find victims who are believed to be trapped under the collapsed building.

A woman reportedly trapped in the rubble, walked out unaided at about 2.a.m on Tuesday as rescue operations were being carried out on the building site.

According to emergency workers, the woman whose name was not given, came out of the restaurant and only sustained injury on her waist.
