Cleric advises GEJ not to run for presidency in 2015

The CAC, Power and Authority founder has advised President Goodluck Jonathan not to rerun for the elections in 2015.

The founder of the Christ Apostolic Church, Power and Authority, Reverend Oludare Adedeji, has sent out a warning to President Goodluck Jonathan not to run for presidency in 2015.

Addressing newsmen at his church at Aba Paanu area of Ibadan, Oyo State capital, the cleric prophesied that there would be bloodshed in the country if “Jonathan forces himself on Nigerians in next year’s polls.”

He revealed that the president has failed Nigerians with his inability to provide the security of lives and property of the citizens in the last three and half years.

Reverend Oludare Adedeji said that the President himself promised not to run for a re-election while he was contesting to be the country’s leader in 2011 and said he never understood why he is now hell bent on seeking re-election despite mounting opposition.

The pastor further predicted that the country will disintegrate by 2016 and there will violence, bloodshed and war if the political leaders do not agree on amicable division of the country.

He also enjoined Nigerians to pray for the country as tensions mount ahead of the 2015 elections.
