The spiritual implications of the ISIS and Boko Haram merger

The acceptance of ISIS to expand into West Africa, Nigeria particularly is a spiritual battle for the soul of our nation and the church must arise to quench this evil collaboration.

Christian clerics have come together to form prayer meetings across the nation. They warn that there are deeper spiritual implications of ISIS accepting Boko-Haram’s pledge of allegiance. They say that this cannot be ignored because these mercenaries will go to any length to ensure that they spread fear in the hearts of the populace by escalating their evil agenda.

Another pastor who pleaded anonymity stated that if the satanic merger between Boko-Haram and ISIS is cemented and terror spreads, people will be afraid to even go out to look for their daily bread, just like it is happening in the Northern states. He said Fear incapacitates the mind. It prevents someone from reaching out to dream or venture to fulfil his purpose. Men of the clergy insist that the acceptance of ISIS to the call of their younger brother’s(Boko Haram) cry for help is a satanic dimension to unleash the spirit of fear on our nation.

A confirmed source stated that many Christians have come together to hold prayer meetings to frustrate the efforts of this merger. The organisers of these prayer rallies insist that Nigerians should see the acceptance of ISIS to expand into West Africa, Nigeria particularly is a spiritual battle for the soul of Nigeria, and the church must arise to quench this evil collaboration.

Pulse Nigeria has contacted the organisers of these prayer rallies to further explain the spiritual implications of the ISIS-Boko Haram merger and its effect in the West African region. We are yet to get a response.
