No fewer than 10 people were reported to died with several others injured as the building located very close to the popular church reportedly collapsed on September 12, 2014.
The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations has confirmed that a building has indeed collapsed with people in it.
No fewer than 10 people were reported to have died with several others injured as the building located very close to the popular church reportedly collapsed on September 12, 2014.
The T.B Joshua owned Church is located at Ejigbo area of Lagos, Nigeria.
According to PM News, there were up to four ambulances brought to assist victims (rescued under and around the debris) to the hospital for medical assistance. It was also reported that the bodies of causalities were taken to the mortuary.
Following the tragic incident the church has released a statement today (September 13, 2014). The statement which was posted on the ministry’s official Facebook page cleared the air on whether it was the church auditorium that collapsed or not.
‘A building, not the church auditorium as was reported. The few people that were there are being rescued. What you wish to others, God wishes to you. Nothing makes us love a person as much as praying for him. The more I love you, the more I will pray for you’, the statement read.
The statement however failed to mention if the Church owned the building or if there were any causalities.
