Pontiff prays for victims of Brussels terrorist attack
Following the series of terrorist attacks in Brussels today, March 22, 2016 Pope Francis has expressed his sympathy to the families of the victims.
The pontif prayed for God’s mercy on the lost souls and their families.
Francis described the terrorist attack as ‘blind violence'.
34 persons have been reported dead in the terrorist attacks on Brussels airport and a rush-hour metro train in the Belgian capital on Tuesday, according to public broadcaster VRT, triggering security alerts across Europe and bringing some cross-border traffic to a halt.
Recent reports says the Fiat 500 car Pope Francis used during his historical visit to the Archdiocese of New York United State of America is now being auctioned.
