General Overseer, Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Enoch Adeboye on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 stormed the Lagos State Police Command, where he prayed for peace and unity in the country.

Pastor Adeboye explained that police officers serving at the Lagos State Police Command especially and other commands nationwide deserve special heavenly anointing to combat criminalities
Adeboye was reported to have arrived the command at about 10.15 am, receiving a warm welcome from both junior and senior police officers, who were at the venue for the event.
Daddy GO as he is fondly called spoke on the theme “The Anointed Police Officer”, saying that in a country like Nigeria with a large population, securing lives and property is complex and cumbersome.
Daily Independent reports that Pastor Adeboye explained that police officers serving at the Lagos State Police Command especially and other commands nationwide deserve special heavenly anointing to combat criminalities.
He said: “With the country presently going through some security challenges, police officers need spiritual protection in addition to the physical gadgets and tools for combating criminalities in all ramifications”.
He prayed that the Lord will restore peace, unity and progress in Nigeria, especially at this point in time that the country is passing through tumultuous times, triggered-off by the activities of the Boko Haram sect.
In his remarks, Kayode Aderanti, Lagos State Police Commissioner, said that with the 2015 general elections coming near and Lagos being strategic as a mega-state in Nigeria, the presence of the RCCG leader is a welcome one as it has brought spiritual succour that will energize the officers in the command.
The event packaged by Christian Police Fellowship of Nigeria (CPFN), Lagos State Chapter, had in attendance Umar Manko, Assistant Inspector-General of Police in-charge of zone 2, Onikan Lagos, Dr Amos Fenwa, General Overseer of Holy Ghost Church Matori, Mushin, Lagos and Bola Longe, Assistant Commissioner of Police in-charge of Anti-Bomb Unit of the Lagos State Police Command, among others.
