Buhari celebrates RCCG G.O who turns 76 tomorrow
Pastor Adeboye will be 76 years old on March 2, 2018.
The General Overseer (worldwide) of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) is turning a new age tomorrow, March 2, 2018.
In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media, Femi Adesina, the President praised the cleric for his leadership and thanked for his visits, including the historic one while he was on medical vacation in London.
According to Daily Post, the statement read: ”President Buhari believes Pastor Adeboye has planted seeds of the gospel that posterity will always remember, especially his divinely inspired dream of ensuring that there will be a church within every walking distance in the country.
”The President extols Pastor Adeboye for his humility, focus, discipline and sacrificial spirit of giving up his personal comfort, career, and dreams, to take up the higher call of leading the Lord’s flock.
”President Buhari prays that the Almighty God will grant the church leader longer life, good health and more strength to propagate the word of God.”

In honor of this milestone, RCCG threw a 76-hour Marathon Messiah Praise at the Youth Centre, Redemption Camp, Lagos.
It featured top gospel artists like Nathaniel Bassey, Efe Nathan, Dunsin Oyekan, Mario Ese, Bola Are, and Beejay Sax.
The event themed: “The Great Redeemer”, was led by RCCG music director, Kunle Ajayi.
It started on February 26 and ended on March 1, 2018.
