Primate of Anglican church warns FG against legalizing same-sex marriages

The Anglican Primate said he hopes the issue would also dominate its agenda and same-sex marriage will be thrown out of the church.

Primate of the Anglican Communion of Nigeria, Nicholas Okoh, has cautioned the Federal Government against legalizing same-sex marriages, joining other countries allowing gay unions.

Most Rev. Okoh made the appeal yesterday while speaking to Benue State Gov., Samuel Ortom concerning the 2016 Clergy Conference of All Anglican Communion of Nigerian pastors which would be held in the state.

It was gathered that the Anglican Primate said he hopes the issue would also dominate its agenda and same-sex marriage will be thrown out of the church.

Most Rev. Okoh then urged the men of God to continue to pray for the success of the nation.
