All through the scripture, our lives have been compared to the life of an eagle. If you study the eagle, you will find out that its strength.
"You are an eagle"
You cannot go around all day, eating dead food, and expect to be strong.
The interesting thing is that eagles do not eat anything that is dead. Unless the eagle is in captivity, the eagle only feeds on live food.
Other birds feed on dead carcasses. They will even eat anything they can find.
Not the eagle. It does not take the easy way out. It flies over the stream and looks for fish and swoops down to get a fresh Salmon for dinner.
The scripture tells us that we should mount up with wings as eagles. Just like the eagle, our strength is going to come from our diet.
Our strength is going to come from what we are taking in. You cannot go around all day, eating dead food, and expect to be strong.
