Oluwaniyi gave the advice while delivering his sermon titled “The Bread of Life” on Sunday. ‎

According to him, Jesus wants followers to know him personally and live by his examples.

“Our main aim of seeking God should not be for material possession because when we die we would not go with any possession.

“Instead we must nourish our soul with the word of God; have a personal relationship with Him and worship Him.”

The cleric stressed that going to church every Sunday was not enough to sustain ones faith, saying ”we must press on to know Jesus in a deeper sense.”

He also called on the congregation to ensure that their domestic staff, such as drivers and house helps, worshipped ‎in the church with them.

“Do not leave your drivers outside and you come into the church to worship, it is very wrong.

“Let them also come into the church to fellowship with other believers.”
