Dame Abimbola Fashola yesterday, opened up on salient issues in her relationship with Gov. Fashola. She said she admired her husband's meticulous spirit. She also said she cannot wait to get her quiet love time with her hubby. In her words " I cannot wait to get my home back"

In an interview with Channels TV, the First Lady of Lagos State opened up on how she manage to build a successful marriage, despite the obvious religious differences.

She said " Though I am a catholic and he is a muslim, he got married to me in my church-The Catholic Church. My husband has practiced his religion and he also encourages me to practice mine. There is no trouble at all. In our home, we both have altars. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ and my husband prays in Allah's name & the children understand all that. My children are baptized and they go to church. When he wants them to go to mosque with him they go to the mosque with him."

The First Lady of Lagos also revealed that Gov. Fashola always asks her to put things in writing, whenever she wants to get something from him, so that he would not forget.
