"Humanity comes before religion. Humanity comes before all else, you're not a good person following a faith if you're not loyal to other humans," said Mansoor.

Mansoor said peace should be the major concern of people in the world.

"So we prayed, we had tears in our eyes, we cared for those people who lost family members.

She explained that Islam does not support violence and that events like causes distrust against muslims.

Pope Francis has expressed his sympathy to the families of the victims.

The pontif prayed for God’s mercy on the lost souls and their families.
