A popular Pastor and motivational speaker in South Africa became a hot topic of discussion in social media circles after a video of him walking naked went viral.

Sthembiso Zondo of Zero to Hero church was caught on camera walking naked around his house while talking on his mobile phone.

The footage was said to be filmed by a an unknown woman who was sitting on the couch, watching TV.

According to South African newspaper Daily Sun, it looked like Zondo wasn't aware he was being filmed.

The pastor is said to be married and has a motivational talk show on South African radio station, Ukhozi FM.

However, Pastor Zondo has apologised to his church members, asking them to forgive him for any shame he may have caused.

He told the congregation he was being blackmailed by people who had the video in their possession

Reports say Zondo appeared emotional and asked his members not to delete the video if they still had it, to serve as a reminder to everyone who is going through tough times.

“Those who have the video of me, don’t delete it. To those who have deleted the video from your phones let the memory of the video be engraved in your minds so that when you are faced with tough situations you remember that there was once a person whose entire body was exposed to the world and yet they did not commit suicide, but they got back up,” said Zondo.

“The pain I went through after the video had come out, was nothing compared to the pain I felt when I was being threatened about it, before it had been released,” he said.
