Following the June 3, 2016 court judgement that all female Muslim students in Osun state should wear hijab to school, over 25 Islamic clerics in Osun state have reportedly visited the in Osogbo to enforce the law.
Islamic clerics visit schools to enforce the hijabi law
Famoriyo emphasized that once the directive was circulated, no teacher of the school would prevent students from wearing hijab to school.

According to Thisday, the Principal of the St. Charles High School, Anthony Famoriyo has reportedly refused to implement the law because the Ministry of Education is yet to send a directive to that effect.
Although, the Governor of Osun state, Rauf Aregbesola has denied ordering female Muslim students to wear Hijabs (covering for female Muslims) to school.
