The prayer session held at Itoro Town Hall, Ijebu-Ode and was led by the CAN chairman in Ijebu Ode, Rev. Sobayo who prayed for the success of the APC candidate, revealing that the prayer became necessary due to the godly disposition of the APC candidate.
He explained that the association is not partisan in its activities but stated that Abiodun is a candidate that could be vouched for in terms of giving the people good representation they desire.
Rev. Sobayo stated that it was the responsibility of ministers of God to enjoin their congregation to ensure they perform their civic duties by getting their Permanent Voters’ Cards (PVC) ahead of the general election.
Speaking also, the CAN coordinator for Remo, Malato Ikuesan, noted that they had to organise prayers for Abiodun for God to make him emerge victorious at the polls because some unscrupulous persons might want to perpetrate electoral fraud on the election day.
All CAN executives in the district were present at the event fully attended by local government chairmen and political chieftains as well as some members of the party including women wing of the APC.
