A Catholic priest from New Jersey who accused of attacking another Catholic priest with a crucifix , threatening to kill him has agreed undergo a year of criminal counseling and supervision.

According to reports, Frank Hreno had a fall out with Ewana Okwuosa over using a car.

If Rev. Fr. Hreno completes his program his criminal charges with be dismissed, police says.

The problem started in April 2014 at the Vocationist Fathers Retreat and Conference Center in Florham Park, N.J.

The Rev. Ewana Okwuosa told police Hreno chased him with a 4-foot crucifix and threatened to kill him after a dispute about using a car.

Okwuosa said Hreno swung the crucifix through a glass door, injuring Okwuosa’s arm, the Florham Park Eagle reports.

Hreno remains a practicing Catholic priest.
