Kent Brantly, the missionary doctor who contracted Ebola in Liberia is due to be released from the hospital today after recovering from the deadly disease.

Dr Brantly was given ZMapp, a trial drug which has also been tried on some patients suffering from Ebola in Liberia
The 33-year-old doctor and his colleague 59-year-old Nancy Writebol, have been cleared to go home after he underwent treatment the Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
Dr Brantly would be released on Thursday but the exact time is yet to be confirmed and details for the release of Mrs Writebol will also be released today.
The announcement of the doctor’s full recovery was announced by Franklin Graham , president of Samaritan's Purse, the missionary organisation Brantly and Writebol were working with.
